Great Principality of Kiev. Vladimir I, The Great, (980-1015)_x000D_ Srebrennik, Intermediate type between Types II and III. Similar_x000D_ to Type II, but no dots around Vladimir's head and the throne does_x000D_ not have a back as does type III. Fragment broken from bottom (most_x000D_ of the early Srebrenniks have only partial flans), with some_x000D_ obverse incrustation, but there appears to be no wear on this_x000D_ piece. Obv. Vladimir seated, holding cross in right hand. Rev._x000D_ Tamgha. A Unique variety.
