Nicholas I platinum 12 Roubles 1835 СПБ, Crowned_x000D_ double-headed Imperial eagle / Date and value in circle, Bitkin 44_x000D_ (R3), Fr-158, AU55 NGC. Reflective fields with a bold strike. The_x000D_ color is a nice silvery-gray, and light contact marks are noted._x000D_ The minting of platinum 12 Roubles began in 1830 and ended in 1845_x000D_ when all platinum coins were recalled, and melted. Very few_x000D_ survived of the original mintage. This is particulary noteworthy_x000D_ for the 12 Roubles, as many had tiny mintages, including the 1835,_x000D_ with an original listed mintage of 127 pieces. The surviving_x000D_ numbers of this issue must be very, very small.
