Anna silver "Peace with Turkey" Jeton 1739 AU53 PCGS,_x000D_ Bit-420 (R1)?, Diakov-81.5 (R1), unsigned possible Novodel. A truly_x000D_ splendid example of this early Jeton with gorgeous champagne-gold_x000D_ and magenta hues surrounding the reverse devices and some minuscule_x000D_ scratches to the left of the eagle's head. The reverse legend_x000D_ commemorates "Peace with the Turks Restored 7 September 1739"_x000D_ following the Russo-Turkish War of 1735-1739. The first P in the_x000D_ obverse legend shows signs of doubling that seem to closely mirror_x000D_ that present on Novodel specimens of this issue._x000D_ From the Jamestown Collection
