Peter I Novodel Poltina (1/2 Rouble) (cyrillic 1705),_x000D_ Kadashevsky mint, Bitkin-553 (R2), AU Details, Harshly Cleaned,_x000D_ NGC. Superbly struck, with minor contact marks. This piece has_x000D_ obviously been cleaned, probably by dipping, but we think calling_x000D_ it harshly cleaned is a bit strong. The surfaces have not been_x000D_ scoured with abrasive cleaners and some of the original prooflike_x000D_ appearance is remaining. Cleaned, but not destroyed.
