Alexander III Proof Poltina 1885 CПБ-AГ PR63 Cameo NGC, St._x000D_ Petersburg mint, Bitkin-53 (R1), KM-Y24. Sparkling, fully-mirrored_x000D_ fields, with light green patina and boldly struck devices. Only_x000D_ minor reverse marks are noted and the overall appearance is much_x000D_ nicer than one might expect of the grade. An extremely rare issue,_x000D_ with only 511 examples noted as being struck. The Proof strikings_x000D_ are extremely rare. We note only two Proofs sold in recent years,_x000D_ (1) Sincona auction 24, October 14, 2015, sold for $32,322, and (2)_x000D_ Russian Auction House auction 48, December 3, 2016, sold at_x000D_ $24,940. Only this single example has been certified by NGC, and_x000D_ PCGS.
