Paul I Poltina (1/2 Rouble) 1801 CM-OM MS63 NGC, St._x000D_ Petersburg mint, Bitkin-61 (R), KM-C99.1a. Obv. Crowned, cruciform_x000D_ Russia P's with date in legend. Rev. Four line inscription in_x000D_ ornate tablet. Light argent-gray patina over fully lustrous_x000D_ surfaces. The obverse has noticeable flan flaws, and the reverse is_x000D_ well struck, with a few light marks. The first example of this rare_x000D_ issue that we have offered and the only Mint State example we have_x000D_ seen offered since the Gorny & Mosch auction 173 in 2008. Only_x000D_ two examples of this elusive issue have been certified by NGC, both_x000D_ in MS63.
