Armored and mantled bust of_x000D_ Alexander I right. Rev. Cross dividing date 1804 below. A flawless_x000D_ strike, with deeply mirrored fields and rich chocolate color. The_x000D_ 1804 copper Proof pieces were trials for Matthew Boulton's new_x000D_ Russian minting facility. These pieces were struck in bronzed_x000D_ copper, as this example, and in regular copper.
