Elizabeth gold 5 Roubles 1755, St. Petersburg mint, no mint letters, Bitkin-82 (R2), Diakov-330 (R3), Petrov (60 Rub), UNC Details, Surface Hairlines, NGC. Obv. Bust of Elizabeth right in formal gown. Rev Cruciform arms with date in angles. Superbly struck with fully brilliant mint luster. The surfaces display light marks, but the overall appearance is pleasing, with sparkling, reflective surfaces and sharp details, with a touch of greenish-gold color. An extremely rare type and the finest example we have seen.
