Alexander III 25 Kopecks 1890-AГ MS65 NGC, St. Petersburg_x000D_ mint, KM-Y44, Bitkin-93 (R1). Obv. Bust of Alexander III right._x000D_ Rev. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle with date and value. An_x000D_ absolutely astonishing example of this extremely rare issue. The_x000D_ obverse displays light gray patina with a thin band of russet_x000D_ around the periphery. The reverse exhibits mottled gray coloring_x000D_ with hints of russet. The strike is bold and the fields fully_x000D_ prooflike with only a few faint marks. Rare in all grades, this_x000D_ low-mintage issue (2.006 pieces) is almost unknown in gem_x000D_ condition. This example is the only MS65, and the single finest_x000D_ certified examples of NGC and PCGS combined.
