Extremely rare with only 100 pieces struck. Russia issued only four large gold coins: the Nicholas II portrait 37 ½ Roubles of 1902, 25 Roubles of 1896 and 1908, and this coin. Of the four, this is the rarest and most elusive. Its appearance on the marketplace signals a unique and truly golden opportunity for the dedicated collector. Authenticated and graded by PCGS PR 58. Slight hint of handling, but superior in grade for the existent pieces of this extremely rare issue. Crisp types, pleasing wheaten gold.
