This very rare, and popular_x000D_ type, with the unusual St. Andrew reverse, was struck only from_x000D_ 1718 through 1725. Peter I was quite active during his reign._x000D_ He waged a successful major campaign against Sweden, and barely_x000D_ survived a campaign against the Ottoman Empire. During his reign_x000D_ the capital of Russia was moved from Moscow to St. Petersburg and_x000D_ he instituted numerous important civic improvements.
