Nicholas I Poltina (1/2 Rouble) 1827 CПБ-HГ MS60 NGC, St._x000D_ Petersburg mint, Bitkin-116, Severin-2905. Obv. Crowned_x000D_ double-headed Imperial eagle, wings down, with date and value. Rev._x000D_ Crowned four-line inscription in wreath. A near flawless strike,_x000D_ with nicely mirrored fields. A number of small contact marks are_x000D_ noted, and the surfaces display light golden toning. NGC has not_x000D_ listed this example as "Prooflike" on the holder, as the previous_x000D_ 1826 Poltina, but it deserves such notation. Conditionally rare in_x000D_ Mint State, with only two examples certified by NGC in all grades.
